Fawzia Khan

Fawzia Khan is the Founder of The Law Desk of Fawzia Khan & Associates, a respected legal practice established in 1991. With over three decades of experience in the legal profession, she has earned a reputation for providing strategic legal solutions, exceptional client service, and unwavering professional integrity.

Holding BA (Law) and LLB degrees, Fawzia is an admitted Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public, as well as a qualified Mediator and Arbitrator.

Her extensive experience across multiple areas of law enables her to provide practical, results-driven advice tailored to the unique needs of individuals, families, businesses, and community organisations.

Throughout her distinguished career, Fawzia has demonstrated a commitment not only to the practice of law but also to public service and community development. She has been appointed by the Master of the High Court on numerous occasions to serve as Trustee of Communal Property Associations and Trusts established pursuant to land restitution and land claims settlements across KwaZulu-Natal. In these roles, she has assisted communities in navigating complex governance, property, and fiduciary matters arising from South Africa’s land reform process.

In recognition of her legal expertise, integrity and sound judgment, Fawzia has also been appointed to serve as a Curator, entrusted with the management and protection of the affairs and interests of persons requiring independent legal oversight.

Fawzia is a passionate advocate for access to justice and alternative dispute resolution. As a trained Mediator and Arbitrator, she believes that many disputes can be resolved more effectively through constructive dialogue and principled negotiation, while preserving relationships and reducing the emotional and financial costs often associated with litigation.

He obtained his LLB degree from the University of Pretoria, one of South Africa’s leading law faculties, and has since built a reputation for providing strategic, practical and results-driven legal solutions.

With extensive experience in litigation, Saeef has successfully represented clients across a broad spectrum of matters, with a particular focus on Family Law, Divorce Litigation, Commercial Law and Civil Litigation.
